How to trim a slip to a target odds

Open Optimize, paste the code, and set the odds you want, such as 10 or 50. ConvertSlip drops selections until the slip lands within 20% of your target, keeping the safest ones, and gives you a new code. Each dropped selection says why it was cut.

Why not hit the exact number?

Insisting on an exact number forces long shots in. Accepting anything within 20% lets the slip be built from safer selections.

Does this make a bet more likely to win?

It keeps the selections the bookmaker rates most likely, based on their own odds. It lowers risk for a given total; it doesn't create value.
